MADONNAS OF EUROPE – IV EDITION available offer Book presents 70 Marian sanctuaries in 28 countries of Europe from Portugal to the Urals. Co-authors of the texts: Ernest Bryll, Norman Davies, Rev. Michal Janocha, Zygmunt Kubiak, Wojciech Niżynski, Włodzimierz Rędzioch, Małgorzata Rutkowska. The book is accompaigned by an exhibition which was already presented in many cities in Poland, Europe and North America.
Janusz Rosikon is a photographer and a member of the Polish Union of Journalists. His photographs appeared, among others, in Time Magazine, Newsweek and Schweizer Illustrierte. He held individual exhibitions at several venues in Poland and abroad, including Stara Galeria (Old Gallery) in Warsaw, the Barbican Centre in London, the Academy of Fine Art in Vilnius, the Piast Castle in Głogów, the Civic Centre in Wrocław, the Arthur Court in Toruń, the Old Orangery at the Łazienki Park in Warsaw and the Polish Parliament. He published such books as The Cultural Treasures of Jasna Góra; Warsaw; The Church of Saint Mary in Kraków; The Polish Madonnas; Polish Paper Money; Polish Securities; Polish town halls; Lexicon of Saints and Angels. His photographs can be found in private collections in Poland, Great Britain, Switzerland, Canada and Crete. Awards: Silesian Laurel 1998 and Feniks 1999
