Exhibitions
In the 1980s, before Rosikon Press was born, its future founders were already organising exhibitions for artist friends, some of whom had emigrated. These events, designed to promote Poland and Polish artists abroad, featured artists who for passport/visa reasons, couldn’t always make it to their own exhibitions!
Times have thankfully changed, and our exhibitions have travelled not only Poland, but also the USA and Europe and will soon be making it over to Asia. Large-scale exhibitions include the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, the Barbican Centre in London, and Washington’s Georgetown University.
Our Town Hall Exhibition was displayed in Parliament, the Cracow magistrate, Arthur’s Town Hall in Torun, the Częstochowski Museum, Poznan Castle, Wrocław City Museum, and Polish Institutes in Düsseldorf, Coppenhagen, Bonn, and Vienna. Our Madonnas of Europe Exhibition had a successful run in Europe and is now making its way through the USA. Our Smiles of the World Exhibition was displayed on the gates of the Royal Baths in Warsaw.
