Rev. Wieslaw Al. Nieweglowski

Born in Zbuczyn na Podlasiu, Rev. Wiesław Al. Niewęgłowski studied at the Lubel Catholic University (Polish, theatre studies, film theory) from 1961–1966. In 1970, he graduated from the Metropolitan Spiritual Seminary in Warsaw. On 24 May 1970, he entered the priesthood. A national priest of the Society of Creators, prelate of His Saintliness, a Doctor of Theology, academic in UKSW, editor of TVP and a member of many societies and organizations, Rev. Niewęgłowski has written around 60 books and many articles in the areas of culture, journalism, and theology, especially the albums Angels, the book The Saints' Lexicon and a collection of poems, The Smile and the Sword. He has also published a collection of meditations on the Gospel, entitled Opened Heaven.
